The concept for Root Designs began after we realised most of the slipmats out there feature predictable, tried and boring graphics… anyone for a picture of a skunk bud? We couldn’t find the slipmats we wanted so decided to make our own.

This led to the development of the current range of nine designs launched in August 2007. We’ve settled on excellent quality 2mm thick felt and advanced full colour print technology. We also approached a selection of renowned designers whose work we admired and decided to limit the production of each design to 100 units / pairs. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
